One morning at Roger Williams University, the sky turned dark and the wind howled like a pack of wolves. Rain poured down in giant sheets, soaking everything in sight. Puddles grew into mini lakes, and umbrellas flipped inside out. Students peeked out of their dorms, hoping the storm would stop—but it didn’t. They had class in ten minutes, and the only way to get there was to walk through the storm.

Some students tried to run through the rain, but they slipped and got drenched. Others stayed inside, worried about missing class. Then a group of friends had an idea. They grabbed raincoats, boots, and even trash bags to cover themselves. They helped each other stay dry and walked slowly and safely to class. When they arrived, their teacher smiled and said, “I’m proud of you for being brave and smart.”

The students learned something important that day. Sometimes, the weather makes things hard, but working together and thinking carefully can help you do the right thing. Whether it’s helping a friend, staying safe, or finding a clever solution, being kind and thoughtful matters—even in a terrible rainstorm. 🌧️💡
